The draft plans for the next 20 years of development in Yeovil and district are now online at http://www.southsomerset.gov.uk/corestrategy. These include plans for a 3700 home extension to the town (towards Barwick), and plans for transport, health, housing, jobs, environment and sport/leisure.
If you want to comment on the plans, there’s an online form at the link above. Alternatively, a roadshow is running over the next few weeks, local dates include:
Sat 30th Oct, Vicarage Walk (SSDC bus) 9am – 2pm
Thurs 4th Nov, Octagon Theatre 5-8pm
